Challenge Day 13 - Animal Print

Since I have been neglecting my blog I figured I should have a second post for today. For todays challenge Animal Print I decided to go with a snake skin print. I love snakes and if it was up to me I would own one, but unfortunately I don't have the time and I don't think Allan would appreciate having a snake in the house with a 3 year old. Just a little side story, I used to have a childhood friend who lived right behind my parents house, our backyards were facing each other. She was the same age as me and we would always go outside and play. Well her and her mother rented that house and sometimes had roommates and one of her roommates was a guy who had a snake collection. We would be in the garage holding and petting the snakes it was really awsome to be able to handle snakes at such a young age I think I was like 8 years old. I'm happy I did otherwise I might have a phobia of snakes just like my mom, instead I have a huge phobia of spiders. Anyways back to the mani, for this I used 1 coat of Sinful Colors Black on Black for my base, I stamped using A-England Saint George and China Glaze GR8 with Bundle Monster image plate BM-215. I really enjoyed this challenge and absolutely adored how it came out and beware this post is picture heavy!

And here is a swatch of the beautiful A-England Saint George.

I hope this post will make up for my absence. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Nail Mail

Hello readers, sorry I haven't posted for what seems to be a million years (at least for me,since I usually blog everyday) but I have been doing a lot of OT at work and as a matter of fact I am at work right now. So I was planning on posting this earlier but I haven't had the time. Last week I received some great nail mail. Here are the fantastic polishes I got: Nail-Venturous Floam, Cover Band Sticks 'n Stones, Cult Nails Let Me Fly, Cult Nails Living Water, Cult Nails Hypnotize Me, Picture Polish Denim, and A-England Saint George. I finally got my hands on Floam and Sticks 'n Stones and honestly it was a fluke, I happened to be at work on a Saturday and was just browsing on ninjapolish.com and *BAM* there it was the lovely Floam and the awsome Sticks 'n Stones IN STOCK, can you believe it!!! I rushed and clicked add to cart and paid for those bad boys along with A-England Saint George and Picture Polish Denim. As for the Cult Nails I got them when they had the second $5 sale and I was quite happy that I actually caught this sale because I missed the first $5 sale.

Ascalon

Hello fellow polish lovers! Today I have another A-England treat for you all. It is A-England Ascalon, I bought this beauty with Princess Tears. Ascalon is a much deeper silver than Princess Tears, although Ascalon does have a hint of purple in the polish as well, there is also a light yellow green tint to it or that might just be from the holo effect. In the second picture you can see the green and in the fourth picture you can see the purple.

Enjoy your day, and I have a little treat for you all later today.

Princess Tears

Happy Hump Day! I'm really excited to show you this swatch because a) this is the first time I've ever owned let alone swatched an A-England polish and b) these polishes are beyone awesome! Not to long ago A-England had a sale going on 30% off so I decided to check out their site, unfortunately they were out of the colors I really wanted....Tristam, Saint George and Order of the Garter, so I ended up choosing Princess Tears and Ascalon. Here is 2 coats of Princess Tears and I love it, it's a silver and lilac holo polish. I had a hard time capturing the holo in my pics but IRL it was very clear to see. Not only was it 30% off but I was just so amazed that it was free shipping, even to the US, that made me very happy!

Here's a photo of the bottle, you can see all the pretty colors in there!

Have a wonderful day!

Nail Mail

I came home to the these lovely polishes waiting for me, I'm stoked because these are my first Nfu-Oh & A-England Polishes. I did a little happy dance while I opened the packages because I wasn't expecting the Nfu-Oh polishes so soon. Here is a picture of pure happiness:

This is Nfu-Oh #51, Nfu-Oh #61, Nfu-Oh Aqua Base, A-England Ascalon, and A-England Princess Tears.

And I have to admit I have already tried both the Nfu-Oh polishes plus Aqua Base and right now I have on A-England Princess Tears. I just couldn't help myself they were calling out to me "Wear me, Wear me!"
