Adventures in Stamping - A Plate Ending in 9

I haven't had a chance to do a Stamping Sunday challenge in such a long time, I'm happy I was able to do a mani for this challenge beacuse it's Debbie (The Crumpet's) daughters birthday. So we were able to choose either a celebration mani, a plate ending in 9, or a birthday mani. I decided to choose a plate ending in 9. I used Cheeky Plate CH29 and used every image that was on that plate. I used Color Club Pardon My French for my base, stamped with Sally Hansen Sonic Bloom and Sally Hansen Red Chrome. For the tips I taped them off and used, Sally Hansen Sonic Bloom and KleanColor Chunky Holo Fuchsia.

Teal Tuesdays - Circles

It's that time again....Teal Tuesdays! I honestly did not have an clue on what I was going to do for the theme circles. I tried and failed the first time so I took all my polish off and started over. I decided to try out the straw method once again and here is what I came up with. I used 2 coats of Sinful Colors Slate. I then dipped the straw in Sinful Colors Black on Black, Kissy and LA Colors Sea Siren.

I then used KleanColor Madly Matte to see how it would look Mattified. I think I like the matte version better, what do you guys think?

On a side note I broke 2 nails in just these past 2 days so I have decided to cut all of my nails down to nubs oh what a sad day it is.

Chunky Holo Black

TGIF! The weather has been not so nice in Seattle, but thankfully they say we should get a break from the rain this weekend which would make it the 3rd straight weekend to be sunny, yay! We have so much planned this weekend, Allan's parents want to watch the kids Saturday night so Allan and I made Saturday night our date night. Then it's Allan's mom's birthday on Sunday so we're going out to lunch with his whole family, it should be oodles of fun, can't wait! Since I haven't had any time to create a fun new mani I will have to show you another swatch. This is 1 coat of Sinful Colors Black on Black and 1 coat of Kleancolor Chunky Holo Black.

I was suppose to post the picture of my new polishes last night, but I haven't gotten around to uploading them so I will try and post them tonight! Have a great weekend!!!

Another Haul

Yesterday ended up being a pretty good day. Aside from being stressed and yelled at by a supervisor I actually ended the day very nicely. I went home to 4 packages waiting for me, I was really surprised at how quickly some of the things I ordered just over the weekend came. I felt like it was my birthday already! I had a huge cheesy smile on my face as I opened each package and my boyfriend just kept looking at me like I was a crazy person. So here are all the pretties I got.
