Happy Birthday To Me!

It's my birthday and I am officially 26 years old. This weeks challenge in Teal Tuesdays is Color Blocking, I started off with a base of Nicole By OPI Give Me the First Dance, I then taped my nails and added Sinful Colors Black on Black, Sally Hansen Teal-y Fast, and China Glaze Adore. I finished with white striping tape.

Beetle

Good Morning everyone and I would like to welcome my new followers. Thanks so much for visiting and taking the time out of your day to do so. Thu Hunger Games came out at midnight and although I loved the books I did not want to be part of that crowd to watch the first showing, so Allan and I decided to go sometime in the middle of the week (hoping the crowds would die down a bit) Ok on to the mani, here is Hard Candy Beetle it is a beautiful multichrome polish. The polish shows blackish-purple to a greenish-gold tint. It really is a lovely polish and I got many compliments from people. This polish is available at most Wal-Mart stores.

Just for fun I added some nail striping tape on my accent fingers.

I was really trying to show off the different colors this polish has but I was having some difficulty with my camera. Hopefully I'll get a new camera soon.

Rev'd Up

Had a work meeting this morning, yes I know what you are thinking...a meeting on a Saturday? Well my job is staffed 24 hrs so in order for us to have a meeting it has to be after the graveyard shift and on a Saturday. So after the meeting Allan picked me up and he was so very kind to bring me to Sally's so I was finally able to pick up some colors from the China Glaze Hungar Games collection. Super excited to swatch those even though I only grabbed 3. I wanted to start making frankens but I guess Sally's doesn't have empty polish bottles or maybe it was just that Sally's so I'm going to have to put that on hold. So as I was going through my stash I counted how many nail polishes I own and I currently have 119 nail polishes. Wow I didn't even think I had close to 100 but I surpassed it! I told Allan and he didn't look too thrilled hehehe. Back to the Color Club All About Color Collection. Here is a purple, the color is actually a little lighter in person.


I bought nail striping tape and I've been wanting to try it out so I figured the silver and purple would go pretty good together. And I was very happy with my results. I actually got a lot of compliments from my coworkers.
