Challenge Day 8 - Metallic

Getting straight to the mani I used 1 coat of Color Club Foil Me Once, taped off my nail and used 1 coat of China Glaze Adore. I then used my dotting tool and added the dots and of course SV for my top coat.

These last two pictures are with flash, so the color looks a little different.

Happy Birthday To Me!

It's my birthday and I am officially 26 years old. This weeks challenge in Teal Tuesdays is Color Blocking, I started off with a base of Nicole By OPI Give Me the First Dance, I then taped my nails and added Sinful Colors Black on Black, Sally Hansen Teal-y Fast, and China Glaze Adore. I finished with white striping tape.

Adventures in Stamping - Stamping over a gradient OR Stamping using 2 stamps

Our challenge for todays stamping in Adventures in Stamping turned out to be a tie between Stamping over a gradient or stamping using 2 stamps. I originally voted for stamping over a gradient because I hadn't actually done a gradient before and I thought it would be fun to try something new. Boy was I wrong, I was getting irratated because nothing was turning out the way I wanted so I decided to choose the other option stamping using 2 stamps. I used 1 coat of Color Club Meet Me At My Chateau, stamping over it with Konad Special White and QA16 stamp plate. I then used China Glaze Adore and Red Angel plate RA-109. I topped everything off with 2 coats of Wireless Holographic Top Coat, I really should have just used one coat.
