Teal Tuesdays - Dotticure

This is going to be a quick post before I get myself and my son ready for bed. I used 1coat of China Glaze Custom Kicks for my base, 1 coat of Pure Ice Oh Baby! over the base, then stamped with Konad Special White using Cheeky image plate CH11 and used my dotting tool along with Sally Hansen Jumpin' Jade, and to top it all off a coat of SV.

Leopard Print

My coworker gave me a stamping challenge which was to do a leopard print mani, so here is my mani! I used 3 coats of Pure Ice Jaguar for the base, I then staped my image over with Sinful Colors Black on Black and Konad plate m57, then using my dotting tool I placed dots using OPI Wooden Shoe Like To Know? I finished the look off with 2 coats of Seche Vite.

She wanted me to do the tradional colors but if was up to me I would have used bright neon colors. Have a wonderful weekend everyone. And for those of you who live in WA yay we had a moment of sunshine finally, but still bundle up because it is still cold outside.

Fashion Nails

I've been seeing a lot of nail bloggers using fashion runway pictures for their mani inspirations, so I decided to try one myself. For this mani I was trying to showcase the models beautiful skirt, and here is my attempt. Warning in advance this post is picture heavy!

For this look I used
1 coat of Sinful Colors Black on Black for the base then sponged on Sally Hanson Blue Me Away!, I also sponged on Pure Ice Strapless just because I love glitter and topped the look off with a coat of Seche Vite.

So what did you think...did I nail it?? LOL ok corny joke.

My New Pretties

Here are the pics from the last two days of shopping. Monday I went to Walmart and Tuesday I went to Ulta. Allan has told me that I am no longer allowed go to stores that carry nail polish which means we will only go to Best Buy and Frys. Haha that's what he thinks.

It was Buy 1, Get 1 Free at Ulta so I had to take full advantage of that and I also got a set on clearace. So all together I saved about $22 at Ulta, which was about how much I paid for everything!

Really Rio

Even though Allan's shoes didn't get to him on time he was super excited that I ordered them, they should be here by the end ofthis week. Since we already celebrated V-Day on Sunday we wanted to take it easy and decided we would both cook dinner together. It turned out great we made mushroom chicken and it was delicious. This is a quick swatch I did over the weekend it is Pure Ice Really Rio. It's more on the red/orange side and had some beautiful glitter. When I put it on I thought it would be super sheer and I would have to add a base but surprisingly it held up on it's own. This is two coats and a top coat of Seche Vite.

Going Grape

This weekend was such a busy weekend I did a couple of manicures Friday night so I was able to post them before I left for our mini road trip but I wan't able to. We went to Oregon to the Woodburn Outlets and also Lloyd Center and let me tell you I was happy about the no tax! So now here is one of the manicures I did. First I used Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Going Grape. It's a beautiful purple with a hint of blue.


Then to add some dazzle I added some Pure Ice Cheatin which is purple and blue glitter. Wish the pictures could show you how the glitter and polish worked together so well. Then added a coat of Seche Vite.



Oregon was fun, I expected to buy more at the outlets but at least I found a bunch of things at the mall. I even found 2 packs of polish from Ross one was a no name brand and the other was color club and I scored on a buy one get one free mood polish at Icing. Super excited to swatch those for you!
