Mood Swing Passionate/Shy

This is the second color I got at Icing. It was a little brighter than I thought it would be.
Light green = Passionate, Dark green = Shy

I ran my pointer and ring fingers under cold water and my middle and pinky fingers under hot water.

Mood Swing Calm/Energized

A couple weekends back I went to Oregon to do some outlet shopping and I went into Icing just to see if they had any good deals, well I found the mood swing nail polishes I so badly wanted to try so I grabbed only two thinking they were kind of on the expensive side, well it turned out it was buy one get one half off, if only I knew I would have bought more. So I went to the Icing store at the closest mall to see if they had the deal and sadly they didn't. But here is 1 of the 2 I bought. The light color = Energized and the dark color = Calm. They are heat activated so as you can see my tips were on the colder side but it made a great effect.

Here is the lid where it shows you which color means what.

And I happened to run my middle and pinky fingers under hot water and my pointer and ring fingers under cold water so you could see the significant difference.

It's a very fun polish and I will buy more once there's another sale.

Prized Possession Purple

Finally we have reached the end of The One Less Lonely Girl mini collection. I'm excited because I have been swatching some other polishes that I just fell in love with. The weekend was fun we had Allan's 13 and 15 year old cousins over and we played Dance Central on the Kinect. The kids had a blast and so did I. Here is Prozed Possession Purple. I t can get really streaky and was a bit hard to work with.

Give Me The First Dance

Nicole by OPI Give Me The First Dance. I showed this to Allan when I was done and he said I looked like I wrapped foil around my nails. I knew I had to do something to tone the color down.

So I added I'm A Belieber and left just enough to see the silver.

I'm A Belieber

Let's start this collection with Nicole by OPI I'm a Belieber, to me it's the perfect purple, not too dark, not too light. It goes on smoothly no streaks, one coat would have been enough but I always like to put 2 just in case. And then added a a layer of Seche Vite top coat.

Just to jazz it up a little I added some of the One Less Lonely Glitter and I just fell in love with the glitter. There's not just one size but two different sized glitters that make the glitter really stand out.

The One Less Lonely Girl Collection

Believe it or not I am a Justin Bieber fan and I did actually go out and rent his movie Never Say Never and I was amazed at how all of a sudden an average kid became so successful in the music biz. Don't get me wrong the kid was a hard worker but it really goes to show that if you just keep working hard you can achieve your goal. He's a great role model for kids. I saw this polish set on amazon and thought heh why not the glitter looked so cute so I bought it and here it is! I will be swatching each color the next couple of days. Oh and I have no idea why Justin Bieber would even have a nail polish collection, the only thing I can think of is because his favorite color is purple OPI asked if he would be the face of the collection.

I Don't Give A Rotterdam!

Did I tell you guys how much I am loving the Holland Collection, well I am! I'm patiently waiting to go get Gouda Gouda Two Shoes, but I might not be ableto wait any longer. This beauty right here is I Don't Give A Rotterdam! The name is hilarious, it's kind of a periwinkle meets gray color, it subtle and that's what I like about it.

And you can see there is a little shimmer to it.

I decided I wanted to do a french manicure but not the plain simple one so I spiced it up and used my craft sissors to cut zigzags and used those for my tips. I used Sally Hansen Deep Blue Sea for my tips then added a coat of Seche Vite to finish it off.

Normally I don't take pictures of my thumb but I think this finger came out best and I wanted to share with you all.

Wooden Shoe Like To Know?

I finally got my digi cam back yay!!! I actually got it back last night but I was too tired to upload the pictures. Anyways last week I was saying how I picked up 2 colors from the new OPI Holland Collection so here is one of the two and I have to say this is my new fav color and will definately be my Go-To color. It's on the darker side of the neutral but it has a beautiful golden shimmer to it which I cannot resist. This is OPI Wooden Shoe Like To Know?

Here you can see the golden shimmer:

Tomorrow I will post the other color. And hopefully I'll be able to go out and buy a couple more colors from the line because I'm loving these colors!!!

Nubar 2010

I was so stoked when I finally received my packages from Amazon just because I knew I was getting my Nubar 2010 finally. And let me tell you she is a beauty!!! I've been wanting flakies for the longest time but I didn't want to spend too much on them so instead of getting the Nfu-Oh I paid a couple dollars less and bought Nubar and I was very happy with the result. I started off with Sinful Colors Black on Black 2 coats then a coat of Seche Vite and then added the Nubar 2010. It was my first time using flakies so I kind of over did it should have used less but I loved it none the less.

Added some Essie Matte About You becuase I've read on different sites that flakies looks beautiful in matte. I preferred it shiny but still liked the matte.

Blue Me Away!

Good morning!!I'm quite heistant about putting this mani up because it honestly was a mani gone wrong but I didn't want to redo everything so I tried my best to work with what I had. I ended up taking it right off after I was finished but I thought what the hell might as well post it. First I started with 2 coats of Sally Hansen Blue Me Away! As soon as I put this color on I immediately thought of the sky, so clearly I had to do some sort of cloud/sky theme.

I then add OPI Alpine Snow using a sponge and just dabbing at the end of my nail.

Since it didn't make the full effect I was going for I just painted more OPI Alpine Snow on.

And here is where I noticed I made my mistake I added Sally Hansen Greay Area when in reality I should have added the Grey first and then the white but oh well.

Oh and I just went to Ulta last night and picked up 2 of the new OPI Holland collection and am really excited to play with them so expect to see them in the next couple of days.

Really Rio

Even though Allan's shoes didn't get to him on time he was super excited that I ordered them, they should be here by the end ofthis week. Since we already celebrated V-Day on Sunday we wanted to take it easy and decided we would both cook dinner together. It turned out great we made mushroom chicken and it was delicious. This is a quick swatch I did over the weekend it is Pure Ice Really Rio. It's more on the red/orange side and had some beautiful glitter. When I put it on I thought it would be super sheer and I would have to add a base but surprisingly it held up on it's own. This is two coats and a top coat of Seche Vite.

Red Carpet

Happy Valentines Day!!! Yes it is the day of love and I'm bummed I wasn't able to do something sweet for my boyfriend. I went to the mall last night in a rush to buy him the shoes he keeps talking about but they were sold out of his size so I had to order them and now they won't be here for another week. Yes I know I waited and should have went earlier but I had this whole surprise planned out for him. Oh well just going to keep my surprise to myself in case I end up doing it for another occasion. On to the mani...Since we celebrated V-day on Sunday and went out to dinner at Pier 70 Aqua by El Gaucho which was AHH-mazing!! The service was good, the food was delicious and the view was fantastic, I highly recoommend the place if you are looking to impress anyone. For the mani I started with Sally Hansen Red Carpet, which is a beautiful red which reminds me of Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz's glittery shoes.

As you can see it sparkles just right

Then decided to do something fun and funky so using scotch tape I take off my nails and used Sinful Color Black on Black to get a fun effect. Also added some hearts to my ring fingers and also my thumbs but I forgot to take a picture of those, sorry. For the hearts I used my Konad stamper and Bundle Monster plate, the polish was Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Silver Sweep.

When I was all finished I showed my nails to Allan (my boyfriend) and asked him what he thought. He looked at them and said they look like chocolate covered strawberries and it makes me want to eat them. I then had to look at them one more time and laughed my ass off. But it turned out perfect to me.

Snappy Sorbet

I was hoping to get a color more on the coral side this was a little brighter than I hoped for but the picture looks great. This is Sally Hansen Inst-Dri Snappy Sorbet, the name just sounds yummy!
