For my birthday I received a couple of dupes so I'm having my first ever giveaway. This is only open to US Residents, sorry international followers. Challenge Day 3 - Yellow

Yellow....all I could keep thinking about was a bee and then I remembered my transformer image plates and bumblebee!! For this I used 1 coat of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Lightening and stamped over with image plate QA4 using Sinful Colors Black on Black.

Birthday Haul

It isn't my birthday yet but my amazing boyfriend gave me my presents early. Two gift cards, one to Sephora and one to Ulta. So of course I didn't waste any time using them. I got Sephora by OPI the Bohemian Brights Mini Collection, China Glaze Capitol Colours collection, Zoya Ivanka, Zoya Charla, Zoya Mimi, China Glaze Sexy In the City, China Glaze Sex On the Beach, China Glaze Custom Kicks, Butter London Henley Regatta, Kat Von D Mad Max, Kat Von D Wonderchild, and my bestfriend Lisa got my a couple polishes that I had dupes of so I'm saving those for my giveaway.

Yay super excited to play with all of these pretty polishes...I don't have work tomorrow so I definately will be trying a couple of these tomorrow!

Challenge Day 2 - Orange

I didn't have time to do the Sunday Stamping challenge due to lack of time to get a mani together so I will just get on with my 31 day challenge which is orange. This is 2 coats of China Glaze Riveting, then I decided to use Essie Matte About You except my ring finger.

Challenge Day 1 - Red

So about a month ago a coworker and I set out to start the 31 day challenge only to quit so suddenly. I'm not quite sure why we fell out of it, but we did and now I want to get back into it. So these first posts were done last month when I still had my long nails. For starters here is what the challenge looks like:

Challenge Day 1 - Red
I wanted to create a lace type mani so this is what came to mind.
For the base I used Color Club Cadillac Red, For the lace part I used China Glaze White on White and a dotting tool, and for the thread I used Sinful Colors Black on Black, the dots on the lace are Sally Hansen Red Carpet, and of course I finished with Seche Vite.

Of course I will have to skip Tuesdays and Sundays for my other challenges but I'm really hoping to keep up with this challenge. And woohoo I'm excited for my birthday BBQ later today!

Co-Bolt Blue

TGIF....no seriously.....I am so drained from this week and I'm not even sure why. Maybe it's because I have a 4 day weekend coming up that I'm just soo excited I  don't want to be here. Yes folks you saw it correct a 4 day weekend, yay!!! My birthday is Tuesday, May 1st (May Day) and I decided I needed some time off to just relax and probably play with my nail polish. Tomorrow Allan is throwing me a birthday BBQ with all of my friends, and he has been working his ass off to get everything that is needed. Awww, I feel so special because usually I take charge of everything including my own parties but this time I'm sitting back and not worrying about a thing. Okay enough talking on to the pictures. This is 2 coats of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Co-Bolt Blue, a beautiful deep blue which I'm pretty sure would be awsome to stamp with.

Holo Fun

Alright deep breath in, it's now time to debut my nubbins with a fun holo design. I used 1 coat of Nfu-Oh Aqua Base Coat, 2 coats of Nfu-Oh #61 and then stamped over it using Sinful Colors Black on Black. I don't remember which image plate I used for this so I will have to  edit this later and tell you which one.

Ok deep breath out. What do you all think?

Since I am still embarrassed of my nubbins I am going to post a swatch that was done before I cut my nails down and tomorrow I will show you all the damage I have done. This is 2 coats of Sinful Colors Kissy, it's kind of a mermaid green/teal with micro glitter.

Teal Tuesdays - Circles

It's that time again....Teal Tuesdays! I honestly did not have an clue on what I was going to do for the theme circles. I tried and failed the first time so I took all my polish off and started over. I decided to try out the straw method once again and here is what I came up with. I used 2 coats of Sinful Colors Slate. I then dipped the straw in Sinful Colors Black on Black, Kissy and LA Colors Sea Siren.

I then used KleanColor Madly Matte to see how it would look Mattified. I think I like the matte version better, what do you guys think?

On a side note I broke 2 nails in just these past 2 days so I have decided to cut all of my nails down to nubs oh what a sad day it is.

HD Nails

Good morning! I had such a busy weekend that I wasn't able to do any nail art. Eeeeek naked nails all weekend, but it was worth it, I got to hang out with a good friend who is only here for another week, we had a bbq in his honor and it felt so nice to have a reunion with all our friends. It's kinda sad that a major event are the only things that bringus together but hey everyone has their own life and family now it's hard to set aside a time that everyone can hang out. It was Allan's moms birthday this weekend also and we had a a small family lunch at a Japanese buffet everything was delicious and I got stuffed after 2 plates. I guess I should have paced myself. Since I didn't do any nail art this weekend I firgured I would just show you all a swatch I've had sitting in my draft box. This is 2 coats of Sinful Color HD Nails.

Adventures in Stamping - Inspired By Music

This weeks Adventures in Stamping is Inspired By Music and I got excited because I finally was able to use my music note stamps. WRONG! One of the rules was not to use any music notes, so I went back to the drawing board and couldn't think of anything. When finally it hit me at while I was at work, why not do the song I was obsessed with just a little back. It's a song from a Hawaiian artist named Anuhea, if any of you live in Hawaii you will definately know who I am talking about, she actually sang a song during the half time show of one of the Pro Bowl games. My absolute favorite song from her is called Crown Royal which happens to be my drink of choice. For this mani I used 2 coats of Sinful Colors Let's Talk, I then took a brush and drew on the Crown Royal using the Konad Special White nail polish, and for my ring I stamped with the Konad Special White and used Bundle Monster plate BM08. I then outlined each nail so it would look like thread with L'Oreal Paris Amazon's Flash.

Here are a couple of lyrics from the song:

I decided to try and make a design with all 4 colors I used 2 coats of Lavender Cupcake for my base.

I taped off my nails and added 2 polised then used my dotting tool and added the City Sweets Pink
